The Dark Knight Rises

As you all know The Dark Knight Rises will be released this July 20. Im not super excited about Catwoman being in it or Talia I find them super lame and a freaking waste of time. I'll stop with my hatred of them before this becomes a rant post. What has me excited though is all the action and Bane being in this movie. The third trailer really pumps you up for it and makes you more than ready for it to come out.

Batman is going to have a difficult time ahead of him with the police on the lookout for him, Bane being what he calls Gotham's Reckoning, and Catwoman just being a waste of Batman's valuable time. The Dark Knight has his plate full.

Im sad that this will be the last one Nolan will be making and turning to Superman(pardon me while I beat my head against a wall). We are lucky to be getting this one though since Nolan became unsure after The Dark Knight had been linked with some deaths and a few accidents after. Its sad that Ledger had to die I'm 99.9% postive Joker would have been back with a special henchwench at his side. But I guess will just have to wait and see if Nolan can really pull this off even though many people warned him not to bring Catwoman in any of the movies if you ask me its a very foolhardy move. New Batman Show

Well well well they are making a new Batman series for Cartoon Networks DC Nation. This series is going to be computere animated with a CGI format much like Cartoon Network's Green Lantern: The Animated Series. This series is going to be a whole lot different from the Batman we all know and love though. They wanted to make it for kids in this time. Instead of Alfred being the steadfast and trusty butler we're used to he is going to be an gun toting ex-secret agent. And instead of the Robin we all know and some love Batman's new sidekick named Katana. There will be alot of villians that arent well known Warner Bros. didnt want another Joker story done. The teaser trailer is pretty epic looking all aside.

Truly I am excited about this its going to be darker than Batman the Brave and the Bold(BTBATB). Thats how I like it BTBATB was way to chipper and bright for a Batman cartoon. But I also have my down sides of it that I do not like. I dont enjoy Alfred being a secret agent and I also like seeing the older villians. In my opinion you dont need to change Batman what-so-ever he is a character that will always stay true to the kids he doesnt need any changes from his butler to his sidekick. Its going to be intresting to see how they do this. But Batman will always forever live in my heart to where Alfred is the fatherly figure and Robin is always at his side(even though Im not a huge fan of Robin).
